Network Project Manager (Day 1 & 2 Operations | LAN | WAN)
Working Hour: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 6pm, Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
Working Location: Central
Salary package: Basic + Bonus + Execellent staff benefits
Responsibilities:
- Work with our Central ICT Infra capability centers to design and implement network solutions that best fit the existing and future infrastructure needs of public agencies.
- Provide essential enterprise-level network services to public agencies.
- Execute new initiatives and enhancements that leverage innovative network technologies to meet the forward-looking needs of public agencies.
- Collaborate with team leaders and outsourced service providers to plan, manage, and deliver projects aimed at maintaining, strengthening, or creating new network services to improve service satisfaction and delivery.
- Execute projects aimed at achieving standardization of network services across public agencies, reducing operational overheads, and enhancing satisfaction with network services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or equivalent with more than 5years experiences in Networking.
- Hands on experience in implementing, administering and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including cisco, routers and cisco switches, network firewall, IPS.
- Good to have experience in government sector.

Job Responsibilities:
- Configure, manage, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Design cost-efficient network solutions and services that align with product requirements and adhere to industry standards and best practices.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans covering system integration, performance, coverage, and capacity assessments.
- Review and evaluate technical documentation related to processes, technologies, and network devices.
- Define strategic direction for LAN, WAN, internet, wireless, and remote access network services.
- Validate Software Defined Networking (SDN) infrastructure to ensure seamless integration within the overall IT ecosystem.
- Supervise the installation, upgrade, operation, maintenance, and optimization of LAN/WAN networks for data, voice, text, and image transmission.
- Conduct technical evaluations and proof-of-concept initiatives for emerging network technologies.
- Assess system software updates, patches, and upgrades to determine relevance and implement necessary actions.
- Oversee network operations and incident management to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Manage network infrastructure ensuring it meets all technical specifications and organizational requirements.
- Provide expert technical input during procurement of network equipment, ensuring adherence to procurement policies.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, processes, and protocols specific to network infrastructure.
- Coordinate and execute disaster recovery plan testing to validate technical effectiveness.
- Perform network fault diagnosis and root cause analysis to identify and resolve network issues promptly.
- Develop, test, and implement recovery solutions in both controlled and live production environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate workflows addressing recurring network problems.
- Plan and implement robust network security measures to protect infrastructure, software, and data.
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with information security policies and standards.
- Assess network configurations and security protocols to comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate network attack risks, recommending and executing appropriate remedial actions.
- Prioritize and manage security incidents, escalating issues as necessary to maintain network integrity.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, with 2-3 years of relevant experience in the IT network industry.
- Experience in pre-sales or post-sales roles involving medium to large-scale or complex infrastructure projects.
- Required certifications: CCNA or CCNP.
- Industrial security product certifications are a plus.
- Proficient in networking technologies including Routing, Switching, Wireless, MPLS, DHCP, DNS, NAC, Proxy, Syslog, Firewall, SSL VPN, Network Management, and Structured Cabling.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with customers, partners, and account teams.
- Strong foundational knowledge of the interdependencies among application, system, and network services.
