We are looking for a Network Hardware Support Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Juniper MX-series routers and EX-series switches. This role focuses on hardware replacement and maintenance activities in a live production environment, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth operations.
What You'll Do:
- Perform hardware replacement activities:
- Switch replacement (label, disconnect, unmount, install, reconnect)
- Routing Engine & Control Board replacement
- Line Card (MPC) replacement
- Manage fibre and copper cabling, ensuring accurate labelling and reconnection
- Document all changes and support validation/testing after replacement
- Work closely with network operations to ensure service continuity
What We're Looking For:
- Hands-on experience with Juniper MX-series routers and EX-series switches
- Strong knowledge of network cabling (fibre & copper)
- Proven ability to perform hardware swaps in production environments
- Attention to detail with strong documentation and troubleshooting skills
Nice to Have:
- Juniper certifications (JNCIA, JNCIS, etc.)
- Experience working under active HW/SW maintenance contracts
