Assurity Trusted Solutions (ATS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Government Technology Agency (GovTech). This role is a contract position for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer ( Architecture & Solutioning ) familiar with either Network Security or Device/Endpoint Management.
Responsibilities
Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) on Cybersecurity matters.
Conduct comprehensive Threat Risk Assessments across applications, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise systems.
Perform Threat Modelling using structured methodologies (e.g., STRIDE), with strong integration of MITRE ATT&CK.
Lead and influence multi-disciplinary teams in implementing and operating cybersecurity controls for cloud and on‐premises environments; including micro-services, containers, applications, operating systems, databases, and networks.
Provide recommendations for the configuration and improvement of security detection and response tools (e.g., SIEM, VA, NDR, XDR, EDR) to enhance operational effectiveness.
Evaluate new technologies and validate the security of the technology through lab setup and proof of concepts (PoC).

Requirements
5 years of experience in cybersecurity domain.
Experience in management, deployment and maintenance of security infrastructure.
Experience in managing contractors and working in cross-functional teams.
Experience in conducting security assessments, including threat modelling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
Maintaining current knowledge on cybersecurity tools, technologies and standards (e.g., OWASP and MITRE ATT&CK).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Motivated and self-directed with clear and logical thinking.
Demonstrates strong technical foundation and willingness to learn new technologies and approaches.
Desirable: experience with modern IT approaches (DevOps, Software Defined Networking & Platform, Infrastructure as Code, cloud services, zero trust).
Security certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, AWS or other cloud security specialty are an added advantage.

Job Description
The Network Engineer is responsible for providing innovative network solutions and technical support to customers by analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing of network infrastructure and application components. The incumbent performs a wide variety of evaluation, maintenance, installation and training tasks to ensure the computer network performance meets the satisfaction of the Company and end users. The incumbent also provides direction, information and recommendations on network configurations and installations.
- Prepare for the commission, de-commissioning and tech refresh of network devices
- Facilitate in problem solving and collaboration and provide a fast break-fix solution and service
- Ensures network platform is functioning properly at the customer site. Maintain the availability of network operations including network related incident and change management in accordance with stipulated Service Level Agreements
- Provide preventive maintenance such as patching and firmware updates for network devices
- Ensure network infrastructure complies with security policies
- Prepare and maintain assets to ensure availability and update of capacity reports
- Update process and procedural documents
- Analyze helpdesk (Level 1 support) / via phone or email requests promptly and provide solutions, follow-up on helpdesk for technical support on all Business Unit Products and Solutions
- Support and assist in product/solution demonstrations, proof of concepts and installation for customers & resellers
- Understand customer's production support problems, recommends solutions to meet their needs, and ensures high level of customer's satisfaction
- Stay abreast of product roadmap as well as understanding the scenarios, features and functions within each of the products and how these are applied to address business and technical problems. This includes interacting with distributors/vendors on an on-going basis to stay current.
- Prepare for meetings and tailoring communications to address business needs of customers as part of the post sales process.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned .
