Singapore Silat Federation is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of National Coach, Match and Artistic. If you have the competencies and passion to lead elite Silat athletes to compete at World, Asia and South-East Asia level, we want you.
- You will work together with a team of coaches to plan and implement the training and competition plans for the athletes. You will conduct regular discussions with the athletes on their progress and goals and evaluate the plans for improvement.
- You will be expected to provide technical expertise and mentorship, to guide and develop the team of coaches under you, for their growth and development, and the achievement of the Federation's goals. You will work with the Technical Team and coaches to identify and recruit suitable athletes, and develop them towards eventual national team representation.
- You will work with Sport Singapore (SportSG)/Singapore Sport Institute (SSI), National Youth Sports Institute (NYSI), to plan for the relevant development and performance support services required for the different levels of athletes.
- Where needed, you will also work with other coaches and clubs in the Silat community to ensure the achievement of the Federation's goals.

Requirements
At least 5 years of competitive coaching experience with elite and developmental youth level, and possesses strong working knowledge in all categories

• Experience in leading and managing a team of coaches

Job DescriptionThe National Graduate Research Innovation Programme (National GRIP) is Singapore's flagship platform for nurturing and accelerating deep tech startups. Launched in January 2025 as a collaboration between the National Research Foundation, NUS, and NTU, National GRIP integrates the strengths of leading incubators to bridge the gap between scientific research and commercialisation for autonomous universities and research institutions across Singapore. The programme is committed to training up to 300 startup teams by 2028 and fostering over 150 spin-offs by 2030, with S$50 million in multi-year support
As the National GRIP Programme Manager, you will play a vital role in driving the success of this nation-wide initiative. You will administer and coordinate the programme's activities, support startup teams through various phases of venture creation, and facilitate collaboration across universities, research institutes, and industry partners.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Leadership & Execution:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the National Graduate Research Innovation Programme (National GRIP), ensuring high-quality execution of workshops, founder-instructor engagements, networking events, and milestone reviews.
- Oversee programme scheduling, curriculum flow, and alignment with strategic objectives.
Operational Management:
- Supervise the Programme Administrator to ensure smooth operations across administration, finance, procurement, and reporting requirements.
- Manage vendor contracts, and procurement processes in compliance with institutional policies.
- Manage programme budget, reporting, and grant management (submissions and claims)
Stakeholder Engagement & Liaison:
- Act as the primary point of contact between instructors, mentors, startup teams, faculty, and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
