• To conduct piano/violin lessons for individual and group students

• Prepare students for performances, recitals, and competitions to showcase their skills
• Assist students in preparing for examinations to evaluate their progress
• Participate in company activities such as music recitals, charity concerts, and other events to promote musical arts
• Record tutorials and create videos for social media platforms and other marketing purposes

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Music/Performing Arts Studies or equivalent
• Required language(s): English, Mandarin, to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking associates
• No prior work experience is required
• Preferably an Entry-Level professional specialized in Entertainment/Performing Arts or equivalent

About the Role

Job Description:

• Conduct individual and small group piano lessons to students of various ages and skill levels.
• Inculcate students' interests and passion for music learning through personalized approaches.
• Provide a delightful music learning experience by offering motivation and positive encouragement.
• Prepare students for mini performances, recitals, concerts, and music festivals, including Trinity College London (UK) examinations.
• Communicate and update students/parents on their learning progress through regular updates.
• Participate in weekly meetings, bi-annual music camps, and other activities organized by the school.
• Meet the minimum educational requirement of Diploma in Music.
• Demonstrate fluency in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Chinese-speaking parents.

Established in 2012, Muse Arts is a Performing Arts enrichment company that specialized in providing the preschoolers the chance to be exposed to professional performing arts education. The main objective is to expose them to the different genre of Arts form and provide their parents an opportunity to see what their child is interested in

Job Requirements: (Nothing is cast in stone. We will craft a position to suit your strength and weakness. But the requirement highlighted (*) is compulsory as this job will be a drag if you do not meet these requirement.)

*MUST sing in pitch

*MUST have a strong passion in teaching Preschoolers (Very different from children in Primary school and above)

*MUST be able to dramatize your instructions to engage the preschoolers' attention

*MUST be fluent in spoken English

• At least Grade 5 certification in any Musical Instruments.
• Have an open mind and be receptive to learning
• Good team player and foster good workplace relations.
• Certification / Strong portfolio in the respective Performing Arts field
• Proactive in going over and above to ensure lesson plan suits majority of the children
• Strong determination to ensure every child learns and understand the lesson objective of each lesson
• Able to work on weekends (at least 0.5 full day on 1 of the weekend)
• 5.5 work day per week, 44hrs per week

You will need to take up at least 2 of the programmes we offer (Music & Movement / Specialized Musical Instrument (Keyboard, Piano, Guitar, Ukulele) / Speech & Drama (Musical) / Hiphop Dance)

Intensive Training will be provided and candidates will have to go through tests and reviews before being confirmed as a Main Instructor.

$1,800 for 1st month of intensive training and review.
