Responsibilities:

• Review business requirements and functional specifications to develop test cases.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing
• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to ensure end-to-end quality assurance.
• Execute test cases manually or via automated tools and document test results.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects in the defect tracking system (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM).
• Validate batch processes, file processing (inbound/outbound), and payment interfaces.
• Provide support for UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and production validation as needed.
• Collaborate in agile or hybrid project environments and participate in daily stand-ups or sprint planning.

Skills/Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience in testing VisionPLUS modules such as CMS (Customer Management System), FAS (Financial Authorization System), TRAMS, ITS, MBS, etc.
• Good knowledge of payment card industry (PCI) and credit card processing workflows.
• Proficiency in SQL for backend/database validation and data setup.
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or Bugzilla.
• Exposure to batch job testing and mainframe environment (IBM z/OS, JCL) is a plus.
• Familiarity with ISO messaging standard and transaction flow testing

Research Engineer Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research on automatically simulating user inputs to Android applications, and interacting with Android AOSP, Android kernel, and existing Android app analyzers.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and technical skills, with experience in C/C++ and Java programming languages. They should also have a good understanding of Android architecture and Android executables, as well as knowledge of software security problems and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and evaluate a system that simulated user inputs to Android applications automatically.
• Modify and improve existing systems that perform analysis on Android applications.
• Modify Android AOSP and kernel to introduce new security mechanism.
• Write research reports and papers on the results.
• Collaborate with other team members on related tasks.

Required Qualifications:

• More than 1 year of experience in Web and App testing.
• Minimum Diplomain in Computer Science, IS, or IT is preferred.
• Familiar with software development workflow, and basic methods of WebMobile App testing and procedures.
• Familiar with the WebMobile App use case design and writing test documents.
• Strong ability to withstand pressure, multi-project testing, be proactive and have a good sense of responsibility, and assist in the development with the ability to analyze and locate bugs.
