Roles and Responsibilities
Scope of Work:- Responsible for the precise measurement or repair of equipment in 1 to 2 disciplines, including Dimensional, Mechanical, Electrical, or Temperature.
- Set up and operate precision gages and instruments to inspect and calibrate equipment to accurate specifications and metrological standards.
- Resolve complex measurement procedures or matters escalated by junior team members. Inspect and check work of junior team members.
- Ensure all measurement reports are completed accurately online and on printed reports. Review measurement results and ensure reports are completed before submission to Approved Signatory.
- Designated as Approved Signatory, responsible for completeness and traceability of signed reports.
- Escalate recurring measurement conflicts and discuss with Manager to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Check internal tools and equipment for measurement/repair and ensure they meet standards.
- Work duties may be performed in laboratory environment or on customers' sites.
- Assist in scheduling work to team members daily and correct non-conforming actions.
