Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist to join our team. This role involves working collaboratively with our team of mental health professionals to provide high-quality assessment and therapy services for children and adolescents aged 3 to 18 years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment: Conduct psychological assessments for ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and other mental health conditions.
  • Case conceptualisation, diagnosis, and making evidence-based recommendations.
  • Provide accessible feedback to parents.
  • Report writing.
  • Intervention: Conducting individual and group interventions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches, e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT.
  • Resource and programme development.
  • Maintain case notes and other documentation.
  • Monitor and evaluate intervention outcomes.
  • Engage parents as part of the therapeutic process, e.g., feedback, advice.

Requirements:
  • A recognised Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, teens, and families.
  • Competence in delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

  • Working hours are typically Mondays to Fridays, 10am to 7pm. Saturday availability preferred (with weekday off in lieu).
