We are seeking a detail-oriented Patient Support Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding and assisting patients with directions and clinic flow.

• Assist patients with navigation within the facility
• Provide support with crowd management and ushering
• Facilitate smooth patient journeys, including shuttle bus drop-off points and clinic entrances
• Support mobility needs of patients, including operation of stair climber (training provided)

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Responsible for all matters pertaining to insurance, Medisave, and Letter of Guarantee(s).
• Liaise with customers, vendors, suppliers, and local regulatory bodies when required.
• Assist in the renewal of relevant licenses.
• Other duties assigned by the Clinic Manager and/or Medical Director as required

Responsibilities
Attend to enquiries from private patients, internal departments, and external stakeholders.
Coordinate appointment bookings and admission requests, aligning patient preferences with clinical and operational requirements.
Serve as the main liaison for patients, doctors, and hospital teams, ensuring clear communication and seamless coordination.
Assist in direct admissions and medical air evacuations where necessary.
Chaperone VIP/VVIP patients to provide a seamless and good hospital experience.
Apply active listening and probing to understand patient needs.
Respond professionally to queries with appropriate tone, clarity, and empathy.
Handle complaints and challenging interactions with tact, applying service recovery where required.
Maintain accurate and timely updates of patient information in the system.
Support the collation of reports, statistics, and operational data.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies regarding data management, document filing, and disposal.
Identify service gaps and escalate issues with recommendations for improvement.
Propose and support initiatives to enhance productivity and care quality (e.g., faster, better, cheaper, safer).
Promote teamwork and a collaborative work environment within the hospital.
Requirements
Diploma in any discipline
Experience in healthcare or service-related industries, especially in frontline or customer-facing roles
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills

Job Description

• Respond professionally to incoming queries on mental health
• Assess clients' needs and make appropriate arrangements and recommendations (e.g. fixing of appointment for emotional support)
• Provide clients with information on relevant intervention and support, and liaise with other agencies, as required
• Play an advocacy role for misconceptions in mental health (e.g. planning events)
• Identify and escalate emergency and crisis situations to supervisor and assist in the coordination and conduct of crisis resolution
• Prepare, update and document all records and reports accurately, coherently, promptly and thoroughly according to organizational procedures to ensure compliance, and ease of review and retrieval
• Complete assigned tasks and necessary reports on time
• Other administrative support or adhoc duties as required by the organization
