We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to serve as a Lab Technician in our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all processes and tasks related to lab events and supporting the Medical Education team with corporate events.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular inspections of medical education capital equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Set up, break down, maintain, and disinfect laboratory equipment and facilities to guarantee cleanliness.
- Assist the Lab Operations Manager in SAP orders and follow-up.
- Collaborate with the Lab Operations Manager to create and manage end-to-end orders, repairs, and inventory maintenance.
- Purchase supplies necessary for daily operations and off-site labs as needed.
- Work with the Lab Operations Manager to forecast consumption and usage of lab supplies, implants, and disposables based on medical education schedules.
- Ensure lab inventory accuracy, management, and ordering needs for new products, replacements, and destruction of components.
- Coordinate the forecasting, procurement, inventory accuracy, and disposal of cadaver specimens with the Lab Operations Manager.
- Implement contamination protocols and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements for human tissues and radiation equipment.
- Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of lab and storage facilities.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the Arthrex product line.
- Support local medical education events, including setup, arrangement, and breakdown of off-site labs and exhibits.
