JOB SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for deeply integrating the Colgate brand into popular culture, leveraging strategic partnerships and sponsorships to significantly boost brand equity and building media strategies for our brands. The ideal candidate possesses an intimate understanding of the APAC media landscape, encompassing digital, TV, and social channels, gained through close collaboration with key media organizations.
Main Responsibilities
- Integrated Media Strategy Development: Lead the regional level development, strategy and planning of integrated media strategies for key campaigns in order to achieve defined marketing and business objectives.
- Partnership & Sponsorship Exploration: Strategize and implement new media initiatives, including partnerships and sponsorships, to improve our media strategy and execution.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with brand, creative, digital, and regional marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of media strategies with overall marketing initiatives.
- Media Best Practices & Governance: Establish, implement, and maintain media best practices, guidelines, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance across all media activities.
- Market Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of evolving media landscapes, emerging technologies, and industry trends to inform strategic recommendations and foster innovation.
- Throughout your career you would have demonstrated your ability to build and lead social media brand, content / community, and paid media strategies (including KOL and Influencer management) to drive business growth and build brands

We're looking for a passionate Social Media Intern to help build and grow our community on Instagram, TikTok, and Telegram, and assist in strategizing content to elevate our brand's presence across these platforms.
Role Overview:
As a Social Media Intern, you will work closely with the marketing team to strategize, create, and manage social media content aimed at growing and engaging our online community. You'll be responsible for planning content calendars, scheduling shoots, and helping execute influencer collaborations, while actively managing engagement and fostering community growth. You'll also be expected to capture aesthetic content for the brand, so owning an iPhone or camera is required.
- Strategize and grow our social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, and Telegram, focusing on building a strong, engaged community.
- Create and manage content calendars, planning posts and campaigns in advance, ensuring timely execution aligned with brand goals.
- Capture aesthetic content for the brand using your own iPhone or camera, including photos and videos for social media posts, stories, and reels.
- Build and nurture relationships with followers, responding to comments and messages, and fostering a sense of community.
- Plan and schedule social media shoots based on the content calendar and upcoming campaigns, ensuring assets are ready for posting.
- Monitor social media trends on Instagram, TikTok, and Telegram, and apply them to drive engagement and grow the brand's community.
- Collaborate with influencers and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to run campaigns, giveaways, and collaborations that increase brand awareness.
- Track and report on community engagement and content performance, using insights to inform future strategies.
- Support livestream events, including planning, content creation, and post-event engagement on social media platforms.
- Strong passion for social media and building online communities, especially on Instagram, TikTok, and Telegram.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to plan and execute content calendars for sustained engagement.
- Creative skills with the ability to shoot and edit aesthetic content using an iPhone or camera.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and interact with an online community.
- Proactive and adaptable, with a keen eye for trends and a willingness to experiment with new content formats.
- Self-motivated and independent, able to manage multiple tasks and projects with flexibility.
- A strong understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok trends, and Telegram community building strategies.
- Experience with community management, responding to queries, and creating a positive experience for followers.
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Basic video editing and photography skills.
- Influencer marketing experience, particularly in the beauty or wellness space.
- Hands-on experience building a brand's presence across multiple platforms in a fast-growing beauty-tech company.
- Creative freedom to contribute to the brand's voice and community-building strategy.
