1.Educational & Certification Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Certification in forklift

* Forklift operator certification

* Basic welding /electrical certifications

2.Technical skills & Knowledge

* Mechanical expertise: Ability to troubleshoot and repair engines, hydraulics, transmissions and braking systems

* Electrical systems: Understanding of battery-powered/electric forklifts, wiring and controllers

* Preventive maintenance: Oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication and inspection protocols

* Diagnostic tools: Proficiency with multimeters, hydraulic testers etc

3.Experience

* 1-3 years of hands-on experience:maintaining/repairing forklift (diesel engine power, electric or both)

* Experience with brands like Toyota, Komutsu, TCM, Hyster, Crown and HELI

4.Physical Requirements

* Attention to detail: Spotting wear and tear issues before failures occur

* Problem solving: Quickly diagnosing malfunctions under time constrains

* Safety conscious: Ability to work OSHA and company safety protocols, must wear PPE during work

* Physical stamins: Ability to work in tight spaces and outdoors under the Sun

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in repairing and maintaining heavy trucks, with a focus on engine, transmission, and brake systems. Additionally, the successful applicant will possess strong diagnostic skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues.

Able to perform repairs on air conditioning systems and wiring, as well as service and repair deep cement machinery (DCM) equipment. Holding a valid DCM operator license is advantageous.

Possession of a valid Singapore class 3, 4, and 5 driving license is mandatory. In addition to technical expertise, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance are essential for this role.

The successful Heavy Vehicle Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are properly maintained and repaired, with minimal downtime. A key aspect of this position is identifying potential issues before they become major problems, thus preventing costly delays.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform testing, disassembly, cleaning, repair, packing, assembly and troubleshooting
• Perform the work according to maintenance manuals, other related specifications and related customer specification
• Compliant to Company Quality Procedure and Safety Policy
• Maintain and update documentation and system data accurately, timely and comply with the requirements.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by your supervisor.
