Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and manage cross-functional, fully integrated planning process that incorporates make versus buy, capacity planning, scheduling, inventory, material and associated cost elements.
Performs analysis of customer demand, sales forecasts and historical material usage to develop and execute build to order and build to forecast plans. Coordinate with cross-functional business teams to develop best cost strategy for production planning to support customer demand.
Establish and implement methods and best practices related to the systems and process that support inventory forecasting, purchasing, and material control.
Establishes and manages production scheduling activities by monitoring material inventories, tracking progress of production and reviewing factors that affect schedules. Responsible for accuracy of inventory counts by implementing and managing, in conjunction with Finance, and inventory control system, capable of identifying discrepancies in inventory counts and taking corrective action to guard against inconsistencies in the future.
Develop and execute a sourcing strategy to meet the company's business growth and sourcing requirements. Identify, develop, and manage effective relationship with existing and potential suppliers of goods and services to meet the established cost, quality and delivery targets. Establish, implement, and manage system to evaluate, monitor and report supplier scorecard performance.
Coordinate and work with quality, engineering, machining, and assembly operations to ensure 100% on-time delivery by establishing and monitoring schedule to proactively identify and address any issues.
Represents materials organization on corporate materials task force teams. Manages department budget, associated costs and resources.

We are seeking a talented professional to fill the role of Materials Management Engineer.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing various activities related to repacking, containment, ICW operations, and maintenance. They will ensure that staff members are trained according to established On-the-Job Training programs and follow safe work procedures and SOPs.
In addition, the Materials Management Engineer will monitor the safe process flow and backlog levels of TIW waste, coordinate with operations, sales, and customer service teams to maintain high service quality, and track containment purchase budgets to reduce costs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline and at least 2 years of relevant experience. They will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions.
ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage repacking, containment, ICW operations, and maintenance activities
Monitor the safe process flow and backlog levels of TIW waste
Ensure staff are trained according to the On-the-Job Training program and follow safe work procedures and SOPs
Coordinate with operations, sales, and customer service teams to maintain high service quality
Track containment purchase budgets and promote recycling of used containment to reduce costs
Perform daily inspections of operations, check plant 5S and TPM activities, and monitor safety, equipment, and machinery
Lead daily safety toolbox meetings and ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is adequate for all staff
Review existing procedures and workflows to improve efficiency and throughput
Implement continuous improvement and modification plans for optimal operations
Collaborate with lab chemists to evaluate and develop new treatment methods and procedures for new or unknown wastes, and report on operation costs
Ensure compliance with EHS standards and support continual improvement of ISO 45001
Prepare and analyze daily and monthly operational records and reports, address any issues, and follow up with relevant departments
Compile annual operation and maintenance budgets for approval and monitor expenditures
Work with operations and engineering teams to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
Conduct regular training for staff on safe waste handling, MSDS, PPE, and risk assessment
Activate the emergency response team and respond to spills or fire incidents as needed; work with the EHS department to ensure proper emergency preparedness and conduct regular drills
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
- 2 years of relevant experience

· Oversee and support data migration and cutover activities for MM and EWM during S/4HANA transition.
· Configure and optimize processes related to Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Inventory Management, Vendor Management, Warehouse Processes, Inbound/Outbound Logistics, Slotting, Wave Management, and RF Framework.
· Design and implement SAP EWM embedded or decentralized on S/4HANA depending on business needs.
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams including SD, PP, FICO, and Technical teams to ensure seamless integration.
· Provide expert support for testing, user training, and post-go-live stabilization.
· Mentor junior consultants and ensure knowledge transfer and documentation.
Key Skills & Competencies
· 15–20 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM and SAP EWM (including at least 2–3 S/4HANA implementations/migrations).
· Strong understanding of S/4HANA innovations in logistics and warehouse management (e.g., FIORI apps, Business Partners, MRP Live).
· Deep expertise in Warehouse Structure Design, HU Management, Task & Resource Management, Cross-Docking, and Physical Inventory processes in EWM.
· Experience integrating EWM with SAP TM, GTS, and third-party logistics systems.
· Familiarity with SAP Activate Methodology, Fit-to-Standard, and Agile/Hybrid delivery models.
· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
· SAP Certifications in MM, EWM, or S/4HANA Logistics (preferred).
· Experience in global template rollouts and multi-country deployments.
· Exposure to advanced technologies like RFID, IoT integration, or Fiori-based mobile solutions.
Nice to Have
· Experience in Ariba integration, Vendor Consignment, Batch Management, or Serialization.
