Key Responsibilities
1. Project Leadership
Lead end-to-end execution of large-scale industrial gas and carbon-neutral projects, from concept through contract negotiation.
Develop detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, and risk management strategies.
Monitor KPIs, track progress, and report to senior management.
2. Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as primary point of contact for internal cross-functional teams.
Build and maintain relationships with major conglomerates, industrial clusters, and government agencies (i.e. EDB Singapore, FIA Vietnam, BOI Thailand, BOI Philippines, MIDA Malaysia, Enterprise Singapore).
Facilitate alignment on project objectives, approvals, and resource allocation.
3. Asset Optimization & Renewal Strategy
Evaluate and optimize the use of multiple assets serving key customers, including scenarios where several plants supply the same account.
Assess opportunities to consolidate, upgrade, or replace existing assets with new projects to improve efficiency, reduce operating costs, and enhance service reliability.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to align asset optimization plans with customer requirements, long-term contracts, and company investment strategy.
4. Integrated Gas Supply Optimization (Secondary Role)
Collaborate with Power Management, Productivity, and Operations teams to optimize the supply of critical gas streams (SynGas/H₂, N₂, O₂, tail gas) to end users across industrial enclaves.
Ensure reliable, cost-effective, and efficient delivery of gases while maximizing utilization of infrastructure across multiple sites and partners.
Coordinate planning, scheduling, and logistics to align gas supply with production and customer demand.
5. Carbon Neutral Initiatives
Represent Southeast Asia & India in steering committee for Carbon Neutral initiatives and strategy development.
Lead projects such as biogas upgrading, CO₂ supply chain optimization, and SEAI CO₂ strategy execution.
Promote best practices for carbon reduction and sustainable operations, in coordination with the Chief Sustainability Officer.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with finance, commercial, and operations teams to ensure alignment and project profitability.
Support negotiations with external partners and vendors for engineering, fabrication, and technology services.
General Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or related field
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in industrial gases
