Overview of Role
AsiaOne is seeking a passionate and analytical individual to join our Consumer Insights and Analytics Group as a Data Analyst. You will be reporting to the Head of Consumer Insights and Analytics Group.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in analysing operational data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. You will also be responsible for presenting your findings to senior management and collaborating with colleagues to develop data visualisation tools and dashboards. Additionally, you will conduct training for colleagues outside of the analytics team in data analysis, helping them incorporate data analytics into business decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of operational data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Develop data pipelines to automatically clean and store data
- Query data according to research needs
- Set benchmarks and identify opportunities to improve operational performance
- Present key findings from analyses to senior management to inform decision-making
- Collaborate with data engineers to develop data pipelines and data storage solutions
- Design data visualisation dashboards in collaboration with colleagues from respective teams
- Conduct training for dashboard users to ensure effective utilisation
- Train colleagues outside of the analytics team in data analysis to incorporate data analytics into business decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Computing, or Science preferred. Polytechnic Diploma holders as well as candidates with relevant training and experience are welcome to apply
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Strong quantitative analysis skills and understanding of data structures
- Experience with SQL, Python, and/or Power BI is desirable, but training opportunities are available
- Strong ability to think and communicate in a structured manner
- Passionate in data visualisation and data storytelling, with strong aesthetic sense
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Adaptable and quick learner, eager to grow and develop
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

- Center for Consumer Insight (CCI) in Singapore develops strong know-how on the global market and consumers via various proprietary researches, and we combine proprietary and existing tools to tailor programs. Besides, the team has strong capabilities and experience to manage and conduct case-specific researches.
- As a Senior Analyst within Vantage Team in Singapore, you will work in a growing global team, providing consumer research expertise and insights whilst working together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis and expert advisory. You’ll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues.
- You will provide analytical services (e.g. qualitative and quantitative data analysis, comfortable with SPSS and data analytics techniques such as Segmentation, Conjoint analysis, MaxDiff, social listening, etc.)
- You will also help design and execute qualitative research studies – discussion guide preparation, moderation of in-depth interviews and focus group discussion, field work management, agency management, etc.
- Additionally, you will support the team in developing existing & new intellectual property and knowledge assets. You will work on commercialization efforts for the topic/sector, in conjunction with business leaders, supporting marketing efforts, conferences and publications. As a Senior Analyst, you will assist with on-boarding, training and guiding junior colleagues and share best practices within the team.

What You'll Bring
- 2+ years of consulting experience in relevant sector/topic required; candidates with consulting experience strongly preferred
- In lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years minimum in consumer research agencies, or customer insights function of leading players in the region required; 4-6+ years of market research experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor/Master degree from a reputed university with demonstrated academic achievements
- Expertise in primary market research for both quantitative and qualitative methodologies from end-to-end (i.e. design to execution and analysis), in both B2B and B2C environments
- Deep experience in questionnaire and interview guide development

Job Summary
As a Senior Marketing Analyst in the Strategic Market Analysis team, you will provide data-driven insights to guide FedEx’s business strategy in Asia Pacific, with a focus on the freight forwarding and logistics segment. What You Will Do
- Develop business strategies, priorities and plans for Asia Pacific Region for achieving revenue growth in line with the regional and corporate objectives, specializing in freight forwarding and logistics segment.
- Manage the collection and interpretation of various market information of Asia Pacific region to facilitate market analysis to identify opportunities and risks. Market information includes but not limited to macro-economics, industry environment, competitive landscape and customer requirements.
- Employ quantitative analysis to turn data into intelligence with recommendations.
- Work closely and collaborate with various teams across Asia Pacific region and headquarters to conduct market analysis.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to Senior Management and regional/functional management to drive business strategy discussions.
- Lead and prepare APAC business update presentation to corporate executive management to communicate the strategic plan and business development of the region
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related analytical discipline.

**Position Summary:**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Asia Pacific Regional Business Unit team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic planning, market analysis, and regional marketing execution within the dynamic and impactful dental device industry.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Support the regional marketing team in planning and executing new product launches and strategic initiatives across key markets in APAC
+ Conduct market research, competitive landscape analysis, and strategic analysis
+ Contribute to the development of strategic presentation, training plans, forecast, and internal communications as needed
+ Collaborate with country sales and marketing teams to gather insights and align global/regional plans
**Requirements:**
+ Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree
+ Previous internship experience in consulting, finance, or a multinational corporation.
+ Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
+ Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-cultural, matrixed organization
+ Fluent in English; additional Asian language proficiency is a plus
+ Fixed term contract upto 3 months -1 year

This is a leadership role within our Group Retail Marketing, and is responsible for three vital parts of our marketing function:
- To lead our group retail consumer marketing strategy as we expand our ambitions beyond Singapore into Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
- To transform our marketing thinking beyond the traditional in order to capture the opportunities using digital, AI and machine learning.
- To ensure governance and due process across all our marketing functions, ensuring clear, responsible and engaging communications to all our clients.

- The role will also function as the digital subject matter expert to drive Performance Marketing outcomes for PFS by leveraging UOB’s investment in marketing technology and driving adoption within the marketing teams so that marketing can deliver tangible business outcomes from their marketing investment as well as to improve marketing productivity and efficiencies both within the function and with our external advertising partners.
- This also includes maximising the efficiency and effectiveness of third-party agencies (creative and media)
- Work closely with the broader Group Retail marketing team and key stakeholders in the digital and retail space (marketing, mobile and digital, business analytics, etc) and with key external media and media agency partners to deliver tangible business outcomes.
- This role will continually improve the operational efficiency of the marketing function by reviewing and improving processes and use of technology.
- These responsibilities will be achieved through an understanding of key business drivers, the process of campaign development and campaign management, budget management and controls, workload and capacity optimisation.
- Demonstration of leadership qualities including critical thinking, conceptual thinking and senior executive presence.
- More than 12 years in a marketing role. Financial services or media agency experience preferred
- Able to think strategically but also execute end-to-end directly and via local in-country marketing teams.
- Strong grasp of marketing strategy, managing agencies and internal partners.
- Demonstrated experience in a Regional role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to join the dots and engage across multiple stakeholders and navigate complex matrixes.
- Solid experience in performance marketing. Direct experience in using and implementing Marketing Technology tools such as the Adobe stack (AA/AT/AAM) or equivalent from other vendors, AppsFlyer and key media targeting tools from Google/FB.
