Role Overview

We’re seeking a Market Analyst to join our B2C team—someone who combines strong analytical skills with media fluency. You will be the brand’s go-to expert for market insights, providing commentary and analysis for use across PR, social media, campaigns, and public channels. This role is ideal for someone with a strong grasp of commodities, Asian equities (particularly SGX-listed stocks), and a passion for breaking down complex trends into digestible insights for retail investors.

The ideal candidate is MAS-licensed, preferably a CFA charterholder, and has experience speaking to the media or contributing regularly to public financial commentary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and relevant market insights with a focus on SGX-listed equities and Asian stock markets; handle commodities (e.g. gold, oil, etc.).
  • Serve as the official market spokesperson for Tiger Brokers Singapore in media interviews, news commentary, and public appearances.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and PR teams to create content across formats (e.g. blog posts, social posts, newsletters, video scripts).
  • Represent the brand in media briefings, press interviews, webinars, and industry panels.
  • Support marketing campaigns with up-to-date data, macro insights, and storytelling angles that resonate with retail audiences.

Qualifications

· Collecting data and information with regards to market fundamentals (supply, demand, trade) and pricing for gas/LNG.

· Analysing and modelling of market fundamentals of gas/LNG. Build forecasts, databases, and evaluations for FGE NexantECA’s short-term and long-term gas/LNG services.

· Writing analytical reports (retainer and ad-hoc reports) will be a key part of job scope.

· Analysing macro and micro economic data pertaining to oil, NGLs and gas/LNG.

· Providing research support to consultants and senior analysts.

· Preparing both internal and external client presentation material and answering client queries.

· Communicate insights through published notes, presentations, calls, emails and meetings with clients and prospects.

· Coordinating and engaging in project and retainer work.

Applicant Requirements

The ideal applicant will be a highly numerate graduate with oil/gas industry experience; alternatively, from finance, engineering, economics, or similar background, and will possess the following attributes:

· 1-3 years of analytic or research background in the gas/LNG industry. Fresh graduates relevant with internship experience are welcomed.

· Ability to undertake independent research and work with a project team.

· Strong analytical skills, ability to obtain pertinent information and develop effective models.

· Excellent numeracy/written skills and comfortable working with large data sets from disparate and often unstructured sources. Strong Microsoft Excel skill is a must.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Fluency in English is essential for this role. Knowledge of other Asian languages is a plus.

· Able to legally work in Singapore.

· Ability to perform in a deadline driven environment and deliver work in a timely manner.

· Ability to work effectively with regional offices to promote products globally.

· Display a deep-seated curiosity for learning

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

· Familiarity with data analytics, visualization, and automation tools (e.g., Python with Pandas and related libraries, Power Query, Power BI) is a plus.

BUSINESS AND MARKET ANALYST INTERN

*This Internship may be converted to a full-time permanent position after 3 months.*

As part of the sales and customer support department, you will be in-charge of market analysis and forecasting, fleet management and business performance review to support our customer engagement efforts. You will be leading our business analysis with existing tools such as PowerBI and CRM.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will report to the Head of Business Development and work closely with the business development team on new sales campaigns and projects. You will support the team by providing market intel and analysis and pricing benchmarks to secure the contract. You will lead the fleet management and forecast of existing major contracts to improve profitability.

BUSINESS AND MARKET ANALYSIS

  • Gather market intel and perform market study to develop business in key strategic markets
  • Support new sales campaigns and projects
  • Analysis of key business parameters including sales forecast, aircrafts deliveries, flight hours and contract profitability to achieve company objectives
  • Fleet management and forecast of major contracts to improve fleet availability and contract performance
  • Implement and lead regular contract performance review with the Account Managers
  • Support the management in business reporting and planning to headquarters

MID-TERM FORECASTING

  • Lead the mid-term forecasting and budgeting exercise by consolidating actionable market intel
  • Prepare and maintain up-to-date market analysis model to support the management in charting new business strategies

TOOLS AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

  • Maintain and improve existing analysis models for better efficiency and accuracy in business forecasting
  • Create and maintain data dashboards using the Customer relation management (CRM) tool and PowerBI

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
  • Experience in the aerospace industry will be a plus point
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced), VBA programming and PowerBI
  • Be a self-starter, fully independent and autonomous with the ability to adapt to different tasks and objectives
  • Be a team player and work with different functional teams and stakeholders to achieve a collective target
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize with changing organizational needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
