Your future position

The role will involve ensuring a high level of data quality through collection, processing and analysis of global Clean Petroleum Products (CPP) cargo tracking data, which encompasses Naphtha, Gasoline, Jet, Diesel and other clean products. You will track specific trends occurring in the CPP market and regularly liaise with both internal and external stakeholders about CPP flows. In addition, you will also be working on various projects to suggest and help develop new features that will improve Kpler's data quality and offerings. • Ensure highest standard of data quality and accuracy of global CPP seaborne flows presented on the Kpler platform through routine checks.
• Identify technology and process improvements to efficiently and effectively process data which can improve data accuracy of our seaborne flows, or even provide new insights/offerings to clients.
• Monitor market news and developments, to first extract meaningful patterns and detect new trends and then support our product managers by providing evidence to improve business rules and algorithms.

Key responsibilities

The Market Analyst (Operations) is responsible for fulfilling the market operation obligations of EMC in accordance with the market rules. The scope of responsibilities includes performing and presenting analysis of market outcomes, support settlement operation duties and risk management, provision of market performance reporting and routine data request, administration of standing data, managing data subscription, and improving business operation processes. He/She will assist the SVP in ensuring an efficient and reliable market clearing and settlement operation in the following areas:

The Market Analyst (Operations) is responsible for the following key duties:

1. Fulfil EMC market obligations under the market rules with respect to price finalization process, market settlement process and publication obligations.
2. Prepare data, analyse, report and present on market performance on a periodic basis. Proactively consult with market participants and actively seek feedback to adapt the information provision suiting their need within the market rule allowance.
3. Fulfil EMC market obligations under the market rules with respect to ensuring all standing data maintained in the Market Clearing Engine (MCE) used for modelling the physical power system with respect to its generation, transmission and load facilities are accurate and on a timely basis.
4. Prepare Performance Indicator Measurement System (PIMS) monitoring, Incident and Rule Breach Reporting.
5. Assist in fulfilling routine and ad-hoc data requirements, particularly from the Rule Change Panel and EMA.
6. Provide rotating 24x7 on-call standby service.
7. Host the Market Information Sharing Forum (MISF) to present on the market performance to Market Participants. Provide training on NEMS settlement to internal/external parties.
8. Involve in Business Continuity Plan exercise, Disaster Recovery Plan exercise.
9. Review, content manage and maintain the MO section of the corporate and private website.
10. Review and update the business process manuals on a periodic basis.

Key Responsibilities

· Collecting data and information with regards to market fundamentals (supply, demand, trade) and pricing for gas/LNG.

· Analysing and modelling of market fundamentals of gas/LNG. Build forecasts, databases, and evaluations for FGE NexantECA’s short-term and long-term gas/LNG services.

· Writing analytical reports (retainer and ad-hoc reports) will be a key part of job scope.

· Analysing macro and micro economic data pertaining to oil, NGLs and gas/LNG.

BUSINESS AND MARKET ANALYST INTERN

As part of the sales and customer support department, you will be in-charge of market analysis and forecasting, fleet management and business performance review to support our customer engagement efforts. You will be leading our business analysis with existing tools such as PowerBI and CRM.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will report to the Head of Business Development and work closely with the business development team on new sales campaigns and projects. You will support the team by providing market intel and analysis and pricing benchmarks to secure the contract. You will lead the fleet management and forecast of existing major contracts to improve profitability.
