Marina Support Role
As a Marina Assistant, you will be an integral part of our marina team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to owners and crews with yacht berthing and un-berthing, operating the Fuel Dock, driving the Club buggy to ferry guests in the marina, and maintaining the Club buggy(s).
Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist with yacht berthing and un-berthing, ensuring that boats in the marina are properly moored and fendered at all times.
  • Operate the Fuel Dock and drive the Club buggy to ferry guests in the marina.
  • Maintain the Club buggy(s) and ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Tow and line-handle with the marina workboat as required.
  • Check berth occupancy and license validity, monitor electricity and water usage, and carry out routine cleaning, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Ensure marina users obey the Marina Rules and assist with booking in yachts, allocating berths, issuing berthing licenses, and invoices.
  • Liaise with officials (e.g., Police, Customs, Immigration) and issue keys and security passes to authorized personnel.
  • Maintain and keep up-to-date all diaries and other records.
  • Assist with boat handling and boatyard operations (e.g., boat hoist).
  • Support special events, exhibitions, and promotions as required.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess a Class 3 Driving License.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/'O' Level in any field.
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is preferred, but candidates with willingness to learn are welcome to apply.

  • Ensure vessels meet classification society, flag state, port state, oil major, and national regulations.

  • Minimum 3 years documented experience as Chief Engineer and 2 years as Technical Superintendent in a similar company.
  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or Naval Architecture.
  • Tanker experience in senior management level on board for a minimum of 3 years.
