The senior marine superintendent plays a key role in the planning and execution of technical activities on projects related to marine engineering works.
This position requires direct interaction with clients and project managers, leveraging existing guidelines, instructions, and guidance from higher authority, experience, and independent judgment to achieve task objectives.
Assignments may involve the development of improvements and review of current designs, techniques, and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess strong naval architectural knowledge and apply it in accordance with applicable regulatory body rules, regulations, and industry standards to develop analyses and production in one or more of the following technical areas:
- Materials inspection and management
- Equipment installation and commissioning
- Construction and quality control
- Engineering and technical guidance
- Lifecycle and modernization management
To be successful, candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in engineering drawings (marine & offshore) and 10+ years of experience in marine engineering & systems integration, including shipyard, naval, and offshore experience.
