Machine Operator/ Manufacturing Specialists

Machine operators/ Manufacturing Specialists operate machine and perform process runs according to standard work instructions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operates machine
• Execute beginning of shift checks as well as pass down information to next shift
• Perform production runs as according to MES (our wafer tracking system) and / or product runsheets and work instructions.
• Do SPC & update SQC for machines.
• Perform daily autonomous maintenance on machines
• Maintain good housekeeping in the production work areas.
• Train and Guide new operators/ manufacturing specialist :
• On operating the process and run the production lots in the process.
• On Production protocol and expectation.
• Work with Assistance engineer / Process engineer to update process procedure.
• Help process engineer to run engineering lot after getting approval from manufacturing engineer.
• Trained and become an expert in lithography process. This person will be the pillar in manufacturing to guide the operators in lithography process.
• Any other ad-hoc duties given by the Manufacturing engineers.

Job Requirements

• Must at least completed vocational training in technical field, ITE, NITEC or Diploma in Engineering Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
• Working experience in Semiconductors or manufacturing industry preferred.
• MS Office literate.
• Must be able to work on 12 hours rotating shift.

Job Title: Production Operator

• Operate blending and packing equipment, mixing and measuring ingredients according to safety protocols.
• Pack finished products for dispatch in a timely manner.

Warehouse Duties:

• Assist in material handling using a forklift, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, adhering to company standards.
• Maintain the production and warehouse area clean and organized, promoting a safe working environment.

• Be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy loads (up to 25kg).
• Able to perform manual tasks safely and efficiently, minimizing risk of injury.
• Demonstrate basic understanding of simple mathematics, applying mathematical concepts to real-world scenarios.

Role and Responsibilities:
Able to start and stop the production line according to protocol and set the required parameters.
Keeps accurate records and notes on production sheets.
Follow test procedures on finished goods and record results that this may include: melt flow, specific gravity, hardness (test stand and handheld), etc.
Operate forklift and hand trucks.
Communicate with shift supervisor about processing problems and be able to troubleshoot and make necessary/permitted adjustments to fix them.
Document and communicate adjustments according to protocol.
Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment.
Assist Debagging and Packing operators when needed.
Assist to conduct QC/QA tests including sample preparation.
Follow up to put-away/release the finished goods and change the status (downgrade/update) in the system
Complete any other assignment given by the Supervisor.
Continuous improvement and lean initiatives:
Be able to put forward with good ideas and effective suggestion on continuous improvement.
Be a member of the continuous team and, actively participate in departmental or cross-functional improvement projects, to drive process improvements, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
Be competent to implement effective corrective and preventive actions to address issues.
Job Requirement:
Minimum SPM passed English or 3 years’ experience in Polymer Extrusion
Minimum N level or 3 years’ experience in Polymer Extrusion
Possess Forklift License
Trained with 6-Sigma Yellow Belt
Have a good understanding on Lean Basics, RCA and LSW
Strong Communication Skills
Possess Forklift License
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25kg
Ability to perform duties under specific time requirements
