NPI Engineer, Precision Machining

The NPI Engineer will be responsible for translating customer technical drawings and specifications into robust manufacturing processes.

• Review and interpret customer drawings, specifications, and requirements.
• Develop end-to-end manufacturing processes, including process flow, work instructions, tooling, and inspection plans.
• Conduct design for manufacturability reviews to ensure product designs are optimized for efficient production.

• Create detailed process documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase productivity.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving and root cause analysis activities.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address process deficiencies.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Technical Support

Position Requirements

• Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience Level Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the precision machining engineering sector.

Skills Desired:

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent

• Experience in SAP, MATLAB and Statistics Process Control is an added advantage
