We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Facilities Manager to lead the operations of our manufacturing site. This role is ideal for someone with experience managing both hard and soft services, and who thrives in a fast-paced, scalable environment.

Your new role

• Manage day to day operations of the plant’s infrastructure, including buildings, utilities, security, and equipment.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure minimal downtime.
• Oversee vendor contracts and service providers (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, janitorial).
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire safety regulations .
• Handle complaints tactfully and maintain high service standards across the site.
• Support sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency improvements.
• Prepare and manage facilities budgets and capital projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree or Diploma in Facilities Management , Engineering , or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience , with a strong background in site-based manufacturing environments .
• Proven people management experience , including leading teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills – able to communicate tactfully, resolve issues diplomatically, and build rapport across internal and external stakeholders.
• FSM (Fire Safety Manager) certification is a bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of facility and security systems, and complete the required checklists.
• Generate and submit reports for scheduled equipment verification and calibration.
• Track the expiration dates of licenses and cleanroom certifications, and coordinate timely renewals.
• Interpret meter readings to derive basic operational insights.
• Perform regular patrols of facility and security zones, documenting any defects or irregularities.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks on facility and security equipment according to schedule.
• Troubleshoot issues in facility systems and carry out necessary repairs.
• Assist in facility enhancement and improvement projects.
• Participate actively in the Company's Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) programs.

Requirements:

• Minimum NITEC/Higher NITEC in Facility Management or GCE 'O' Level.
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing facility is an added advantage.
