Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure smooth execution and adherence to production schedules.
- Identify potential EHS risks in the production processes, areas and develop, propose and drive for implementation of mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement standardized work procedures , manufacturing best practices, and operational workflows.
- Identify and reduce bottlenecks, downtime, and inefficiencies in the production line and implement Lean methodologies such as 5S, and Kaizen to enhance productivity.
- Provide technical support for production issues, including mechanical, electrical, and process-related challenges.
- Collaborate with Process Engineers to establish root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring production failures and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve process reliability.
- Work closely with the Engineering and Quality team to address nonconformances, deviations, and rework processes.
- Ensure the seamless transition of new products from R&D to production (NPI), by monitoring and supporting the validation of new manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials.
- Work with R&D, quality and Process Engineers to develop, maintain and improve production Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and process control plans.
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of production equipment tools, jigs, and fixtures.
- Drive and support the integration of automation, digitalisation solutions to streamline production workflows.
- Train and guide production technicians and operators on best practices and SOPs.
- Proactively create and encourage a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and analysing production data to identify areas for improvements.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by superior.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field)
- 2 years of experience in production or manufacturing engineering, preferably in robotics, electronics, or automation industries.
