Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Solutions Forensics team at Marsh. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Claims Solutions Forensics team is responsible for managing an allocated client base to provide advice on significant or problematic losses for clients across a wide range of industry sectors. This includes claim investigation, claim file preparation, loss quantification, coverage issue resolution, and negotiations with Insurers to reach an agreeable settlement.

We will count on you to:

  • Work with clients to understand and quantify the loss incurred
  • Prepare the claims file for large loss submission to ensure all loss considerations are included
  • Work with the client, Insurers and Loss Adjusters to reach an agreeable settlement
  • Work with internal stakeholders to grow the practice in Japan and Asia more widely

What you need to have:

  • Accounting qualifications and a minimum of 3-5 years working in Professional Services
  • Natural numeracy skills and an enquiring mind, with the ability to analyse financial data
  • Experience of working with clients and Insurers on major, complex, disputed or catastrophic losses (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience of Property, Liability and/or Business Interruption claims will be highly beneficial, although other insurance lines will be considered

  • Decarbonisation of Technology sector especially for the Data Centres.

  • Lead the team in the delivery of the relevant Market / Concept / Feasibility Studies and Pre-FEED projects in the region; as well as the delivery is on time, on budget and on specifications.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of Energy/related industry experience specific to corporate energy transition work, energy policy and regulations and/or energy transition financing work
  • Proven capability in delivering high-end advisory/consulting projects and managing key stakeholders is essential.

Overview
Mastercard’s Services team helps clients across industries make smarter decisions through data‐driven insights, innovative products, and executional excellence. Our Advisors & Consulting Services (ACS) team combines traditional consulting with Mastercard’s rich data and proprietary platforms like Test & Learn. This role uniquely blends Business Experimentation consulting with a strong innovation lens. We are seeking a versatile Consulting Manager who can lead client engagements focused on experimentation, while also bringing hands‐on or team‐led experience in implementing enterprise Generative AI (GenAI) solutions. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across business and technical teams, with the ability to vet implementation quality and guide data product strategy.
Client Impact
Lead client engagements across a range of industries and business problem statements
Develop strategies and programs for regional and global clients by leveraging data science tools, including Test & Learn
Own key relationships with mid‐level to senior client stakeholders, and independently assess client agenda, internal culture, and change readiness
Provide analytical and technical subject matter expertise to drive client success, particularly in the adoption and effective use of experimentation platforms and AI‐powered insights
Translate client goals into experiment design, business recommendations, and scalable deployment plans
Innovation & Technical Oversight
Assess feasibility and value of GenAI and ML solutions for enterprise clients
Lead or advise on technical delivery of AI‐enabled products and experimentation workflows
Evaluate work from engineering and data science teams for quality and alignment with business objectives
Identify where AI capabilities can enhance experimentation and guide use‐case scoping and deployment planning
Team Collaboration & Culture
Lead teams to generate creative insights and actionable recommendations, and deliver compelling client presentations
Provide day‐to‐day leadership on analytical project delivery and create a collaborative, inclusive team environment
Guide professional growth of junior consultants through coaching, on‐the‐job training, and feedback
Collaborate across internal stakeholders to co‐create relevant, scalable solutions and grow Mastercard’s consulting knowledge base
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree with a strong analytical or technical foundation
Experience managing client relationships and leading cross‐functional teams across multiple projects
Past experience implementing enterprise‐grade GenAI or AI/ML solutions, either hands‐on or by leading technical teams
Demonstrated ability to apply data‐driven insights to solve complex business problems
Strong problem‐solving, storytelling, and communication skills
Fluency in business KPIs and organizational dynamics
Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast‐paced, dynamic environment
Preferred / Highly Valued
Ability to review and guide technical implementations for quality and business fit
Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, and/or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Experience with model fine‐tuning, prompt engineering, and retrieval‐augmented generation (RAG)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and scalable infrastructure for AI workloads
Strong grasp of data engineering, including data pipelines, preprocessing, and synthetic data generation
Exposure to AI/ML deployment practices (e.g., LLMs, retrieval‐augmented generation, model evaluation)
Experience in product co‐creation or innovation consulting
MBA or master’s degree with relevant specialization (not required)
