Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operational matters for Owned, Managed, and Voyage or Time-Chartered vessels.
  • Communicate daily with Masters, Agents, Charterers, Owners, and Brokers to ensure smooth operations.

  • IMOS experience is essential; SHIPFIX or SEDNA experience is a plus.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Software Quality Manager / Integration, Verification, Validation and Quality Manager, you are accountable for:

- Oversee Integration Projects: Plan and execute system integration projects to ensure seamless interoperability between different software applications, hardware systems, and IT infrastructures.

- Develop Integration and Test Strategies: Create and implement strategies, architectures, and platforms to facilitate efficient and secure data exchange and workflow across systems.

o Strong knowledge of machine learning concepts and deep learning including neural networks, optimization algorithms, and evaluation metrics.

o Knowledge of SQL and data manipulation for AI applications.

o Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and their applications in AI/ML.

o Familiarity with CI/CD processes, test-driven development, and scalable AI deployment.

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple projects.

o Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

About the Job

As the HR Manager, you will operate at both an operational and strategic level to deliver high-quality HR services and support the company's growth plans.

  1. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from taking the initial brief to advertising positions, liaising with agencies, organizing interviews, and handling offers.
  2. Collaborate with the CEO to design and implement a performance management process aligned with company goals and KPIs.
  3. Oversee the annual bonus calculation, salary reviews, and salary benchmarking.
  4. Coordinate payroll and administer the benefits program.
  5. Maintain and update the HRIS system, responsible for onboarding, offboarding, and generating letters.
  6. Handle visa and work permit matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  7. Partner with the leadership team to align HR with business goals, providing HR business partner services.

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business or HR, with at least 5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Manager role, ideally within a start-up or fast-growing environment. You should have strong recruitment management experience and be comfortable working at both operational and strategic levels, willing to engage in day-to-day HR activities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead across all levels of the business are essential.
