We have an opportunity for a Facility Maintenance Executive. This role is based in Mandai Linkand reports to the Manager, Facilities Maintenance.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Preventive Maintenance of Facility Equipment
In line with Industry and Corporate standards, developed site specific strategy and oversee execution of preventive maintenance activities to optimize operational availability and efficiency. This includes all building facilities and equipment including ASRS, warehouse, electrical, MHE, building envelope, refrigeration, fire systems etc
Monitor and report compliance with preventive maintenance schedules and checklists across the facility.
Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and propose long-term solutions for equipment reliability.
Prepare reports on maintenance performance and recommend improvements to management.
2. Ad-hoc or Corrective Maintenance of Facility Equipment
Manage and coordinate corrective maintenance activities to ensure timely resolution of faults or breakdowns.
Liaise with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks, ensuring safety, quality and cost-effectiveness.
Evaluate corrective maintenance processes and recommend optimizations to reduce recurrence of faults.
3. Inspection of Facility Equipment and Building Perimeter
Plan and oversee the implementation of regular inspections for all facility equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
Conduct periodic formalized assessments of the maintenance program and process safety management framework elements, identifying appropriate corrective actions or improvement programs
4. General– Facility
Supervise and guide the execution of building maintenance and improvement projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proposed changes align with operational goals and regulatory compliance.
Develop and manage budgets and schedules for maintenance and improvement projects.
To be successful, you will have:
At least 5 years’ experience in a maintenance and/or project teams with a demonstrated ability to manage complex project/maintenance operations in a warehouse/logistics or heavy industrial environment
Technical Diploma in a related field e.g. electrical, mechanical, refrigeration
Strong knowledge of facility management, equipment maintenance, and safety standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with Technicians, all stakeholders and Senior Executives
Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office tools.
Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and an ability and willingness to learn
