Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Formal training or certification in mechanics, automotive technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a mechanic, with hands-on experience in engine repair, cranes and excavator operation, and construction equipment maintenance.
• Must be very familiar with XCMG machines.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin to coordinate with team members and suppliers.

Machinery Technician – Responsibilities
Perform regular maintenance on equipment used in the construction project
Conduct inspection regularly on the machinery/equipment to ensure a smooth operation process
Carry out routine servicing of equipment as part of a measure to prevent breakdowns and malfunction, which could thwart operation activities
Install, assemble and test new machines and equipment
Carry out mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting and repair of machinery
Ensuring repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance on equipment are completed on time and safety
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager
Required to go construction site and work overtime if necessary
Machinery Technician – Qualifications
Preferably at least 5 years experience on truck Euro 2 - Euro 5 Diesel Engine on majority brand chassis
Basic knowledge of hydraulic system and hydraulic pump

Understand and demonstrate compliance to Site Safety rules, led by example and reinforce safety mindset among the team.
Understand Business Controls and compliance to company standards, led by example and reinforce control sensitivity among team.
Provide engineering expertise support to the Singapore Manufacturing Complex (SCP and Refinery) for safe and reliable operations. The work includes but not be limited to engineering assessment, engineering design, plant troubleshooting and equipment failure root cause failure analysis, long term equipment improvement initiatives and provide engineering solutions to problems in specific field.
Provide support for major shutdown maintenance or major equipment maintenance work. e.g. T/A or GTGs major inspection etc.
Key contact for their area of expertise
Provide technical training as required in the area of expertise
Collaborate among Business Team (PMTE) and participate in respective network activities as required.

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
