Key Responsibilities
Equipment Assembly and Setup: Lead the precise setup and assembly of complex equipment, including vision systems, Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), tape & reel machines, and associated mechanical/electrical components.
System Calibration and Alignment: Execute machine and module alignment and vision system calibration to ensure peak operational performance and accuracy.
Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner. Provide expert on-site technical support, requiring both local and international travel.
Quality Assurance & Testing: Oversee and execute kit assembly, functional testing, and final certification processes to meet rigorous quality standards.
Logistics and Inventory Management: Manage critical inventory levels, coordinate the purchasing and collection of necessary parts, and maintain efficient stock organization.
External Coordination: Liaise with external subcontractors to manage and monitor the quality and timely completion of outsourced technical tasks.
Requirements
Diploma / Higher Nitec in Mechanical / Electrical / Manufacturing Engineering
Set-Up & Assemble entire machine equipment experience
Experience working in semiconductor equipment manufacturing will be a plus
Familiarity with electrical systems, servo motors, sensors, and pneumatic components preferred.
Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings is advantageous.
Knowledge in motor tuning, AOI, or vision systems is a bonus.
Work Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-6pm (with OT pay)
Training given to candidate with no experience
