What the role is

You interface with units in Naval Diving Unit (NDU) as well as Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN)/Singapore Armed Forces (SAF)-wide agencies to meet the logistics requirements and provide centralised logistics support.

What you will be working on

• Ensure accountability for materials and services purchased by or issued to unit
• Ensure conformance to governance and compliance requirements for finance, materials and services accounting and management
• Manage the unit's logistics team to meet operational requirements
• Analyse and recommend logistics support to achieve the unit's operational sustainment

• Keeping abreast of logistics policy and procedures

What we are looking for

• Education in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
• Proficiency of SAP business systems is preferred
• Willingness to conduct outfield work, travel overseas and work odd hours occasionally

Job Description

• Develop and execute the business development strategy to drive supply chain logistics market share growth and profitability in Asia.
• Analyse market trends, customer needs and competitive landscape to refine go-to-market strategies in Asia.
• Undertake strategic projects on corporate development and growth at CWT HQ corporate level.
• Build domain knowledge of Asia region development, market conditions, and the competitive landscape.
• Design and implement solutions that will assist in the Group's efforts in new product/ service launches in Asia.
• Improve profitability through strategic procurement, and/or optimising costs by collaborating with the Group members.
  Assist the Senior Management Team in the day-to-day operational management and special projects in Asia, as and when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Strong understanding of the industry and market dynamics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work strategically and collaboratively with stakeholders.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the preparation of operations documents, timely updates WMS and provide support in general logistics administrative functions, coordination between warehouse and transportation, communicating to customer.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for the coordination and preparation of all necessary documentation for the movement of warehouse cargo
• Create and maintain reports and files for all operations records, correspondence, plans, and expenses.
• Coordinate with operations personnel to ensure readiness of cargo for deliveries.
• SAP/WMS, timely updating
• Track & Trace shipping details with Forwarding agents
• Weekly Cycle Count report
• Ensuring Quality of all customer services meet the required standard. Updating of shipment / Domestic deliveries status.
• Handle any other ad-hoc / administrative duties.

Qualifications Summary

Experience:

• This position requires minimum 1 year relevant work experience in clerical/Administrative support or equivalent.

Education:

• Minimum 'N' level

Skills:

• Good customer service and communication skills
• Advantageous if possess knowledge in Warehouse Management System (WMS) & SAP
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc.

Working hours:

Mon to Fri, 8:30am to 6pm

・Establish and nurture client relationships

・Develop and optimize logistics networks

・Chartering and operating shipments

・Logistics in domestic, import, export, and trade among three countries.

・Deep understanding of logistics and Shipping market.

・Excellent personal connection with logistics companies or shipping companies.

・General operation of concluding transportation contracts with customers in Overseas.

・Negotiating all trade conditions with shipping companies.

Qualifications:

・Working experience in logistics company or shipping company.

・Language: English (Native) , Japanese (Business)
