Job Objectives: In this position, you will act as the critical link between the Satair business in Singapore and China and the rest of the Digital organisation in relation to SAP projects and operational support. You will be part of the SAP Warehouse support team in Satair (red channel), focusing on supporting warehouses in Singapore and China, including the implementation of Autostore in Singapore and setting up a new warehouse in China. You will be the main SAP contact point in Singapore for critical operational situations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the local project lead for SAP application-related projects (e.g., Autostore implementation in Singapore, EWM global implementation, and setting up a new warehouse in China).
- Define and set up new functionality in Satair’s SAP landscape, mainly within logistics.
- Serve as the main SAP contact point in Singapore, coordinating across business and IT.
- Coordinate technical issues and improvements with the global digital organisation and business representatives.
- Observe current market trends and propose those trends to the business to add value to logistics solutions.
- Provide expertise in SAP ERP WM and SAP EWM.
- Work closely with the project team to ensure successful implementation of Autostore, SAP EWM, and other warehouse technologies.
- Conduct workshops and training for end-users to ensure smooth adoption of the new SAP EWM system.
- Support the business with SAP support and expertise.
- Act as a facilitator between Singapore/China operations and the global IT organisation, ensuring alignment and knowledge sharing.
Job Requirements:
- Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Business Information Systems or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehousing/logistics applications support.
- Experience and skills in SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
- Knowledge of other SAP modules (e.g., Materials Management, Financial Accounting, Controlling) is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Autostore or similar warehouse technologies is advantageous.
- Ability to see the bigger picture and recommend mid- to long-term strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills.
- Diplomatic, open-minded, and able to build successful relations across functions.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex digital topics into business language.
