Responsibilities:

• To perform credit evaluation and risk analysis of Corporate and Individual Borrowers;

• Undertake adhoc projects as assigned by Head of Department;

Requirements:

• Candidates who possess a minimum diploma in accounting, business, banking and finance with minimum 1 year of experience (credit or SMEs lending) in preparing financial spreadsheet, originating credit proposal and preparing related reports etc with good foundation in accounting, economics, statistics will be desirable;
• Candidates with degree in banking and finance, business and economics may apply;
• Good understanding of property and motor vehicle market will be an added advantage;
• Meticulous, analytical, details, good report writing skills, proficient in words, excel etc;
• Familiar with consumer banking i.e. MAS 825, 829, 831 etc;

Your new roleConduct review and analysis of existing and potential borrowers (large corporates) for independent and impartial presentation of credit risk assessment. Conduct independent and impartial credit risk analysis of existing and potential borrowers for (amongst others) creditworthiness and repayment capability. Preparation of a monthly report to Branch Senior Management (at Credit Committee Monthly meeting) tracking disclosure and receipt of financial statements, and completion of Credit Reviews and CRR reviews within timelines pursuant to Head Office and branch's P&P.

Job Description

• Monitor credit accounts routinely, assess delinquent accounts, and recommend appropriate follow-up actions.
• Conduct regular monitoring of joint (designated) accounts to detect and investigate abnormal client activity.
• Review the Trade Bureau Business Watch Hit Report and promptly update the management on any flagged or alert accounts.
• Review and update the Special Attention Accounts list on a weekly basis, ensuring timely escalation of any concerns.

The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst with 5–10 years of prior corporate credit experience.
