Responsibilities
- Handle complex syndicated and commercial loan structures and conduct investigations as part of daily BAU handling
- Ensure day-to-day loan transactions are promptly & accurately processed and authorized within stipulated Service Level Agreement including handing of enquiries from Business Units
- Ensure all loan transactions and tasks assigned are carried out in accordance with the operating and compliance procedures
- Extracting information from the facility agreements for loan creation and loan servicing in the core banking system
- Preparing swift massage in accordance with bank standards (e.g. MT103, MT202, cover payments)
- Work closely within/across teams, Business Units and other stakeholders on the daily transactions
- Support Team Manager on projects/initiatives and engage the team on process improvements to achieve KPIs
- Maintain updated Standard Operating Procedures
- Timely escalation of operational risks incidents
Requirements
- Degree holder from a recognized University with minimum 2 years or above in Corporate Loan Operations with system knowledge in Finacle an advantage
- Speed & Accuracy — role requires prompt processing of transactions whilst maintaining vigilance and accuracy over the manual repairs and inputs
- Zero tolerance for error/ambiguity – role entails posting financial transactions on daily basis; and entails high financial exposure risk
- Comfort with variable workload, not a fixed output per day
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet various cut-off times and customer's specific SLA with zero error rate
- Ability to work extended hours (typically including, but not limited to Mondays (across weekend), post holidays, month end weeks) due to surge in volume during these periods
- Ability toparticipate in weekend/late night LVs
- Ability to work on SG public holidays when the need arises
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel & PowerPoint
