We are seeking a healthcare professional to fill the role of Occupational Therapist in our Senior Care Centre and Nursing Home setting in Singapore. The successful candidate will assess patients' functional independence, develop tailored treatment plans, and monitor progress.

• Assess patients' ADL needs and create individualized treatment plans.
• Implement ADL training and therapies to promote functional independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.

The ideal candidate has experience working with geriatric populations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. They must be fully registered with the relevant authority in Singapore and hold a Bachelor or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.

As a Senior Rehabilitation Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting residents to achieve their rehabilitation goals through the implementation of therapeutic and self-care activities. You will work under the direction of the occupational therapist to develop and implement treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident.

• Treat residents using evidence-based therapeutic and self-care activities designed to improve function
• Maintain accurate records of resident progress and adapt treatment plans as needed
• Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care plans for patients
• Educate and guide residents on how to use equipment that makes certain activities easier, promoting independence and confidence
• Monitor and evaluate resident participation in therapy sessions, providing constructive feedback and encouragement

• Diploma or degree in a related field; entry level welcome to apply with relevant experience
• Able to communicate effectively with team members and maintain good teamwork
• Knowledge of Mandarin/Hokkien dialects an added advantage as interaction with Chinese-speaking elderly residents is required
• Able to physically handle non-ambulant residents with care and respect

Job scope:

• Perform admission and discharge assessment
• Provide nursing care and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members for support to service users and their caregivers (especially PT and OT)
• Plan, coordinate and execute activities that promotes participation while promoting client’s wellbeing
• Provide immediate care during medical emergencies
• ⁠Carry out daily required treatments and administer medication
