Job Scope:-
- Oversee and manage file opening and closing procedures, and monitor deadlines and progress of matters and files.
- Preparing invoices, statements of accounts and handle simple book-keeping.
- Assist lawyers in legal administrative matters such as file management and client care correspondence.
- Manage physical and electronic files.
- Oversee and manage the lawyers’ calendar appointments, meetings and Court schedules.
- Assist lawyers in simple drafting of legal correspondence and court documents, collating documents or bundles and/or e-filing of documents via eLitigation (if required)
- Administration of practising certificate applications and professional indemnity coverage.
- Answer telephone calls and other ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:-
- Minimum of 5 GCE ‘O’ level passes, including English.
- Good command of written and oral English.
- Prior working experience in a law practice.
- Able to multi-task and be meticulous.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications and IT savvy.
