The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal support and assistance to the civil/corporate/commercial team in a broad range of legal matters. Job Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including court documents such as pleadings and affidavits as well as corporate work such as contracts and agreements.
- Assist in preparing for and attending trials and hearings.
- Provide support in corporate transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and corporate governance.
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis on a range of legal issues and case law.
- Stay informed about current laws, and legal developments that impact the firm and its clients.
Job Requirements:
- Must be qualified to practice in Singapore.
- Preferably NQ to 1 PQE for Legal Associate and 3 PQE for Senior Legal Associate.
- Solid knowledge of legal principles, practices and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships internally and externally.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- Proficiency with legal research tools (e.g., LawNet, LexisNexis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
