Roles & Responsibilities

As a Laundry Manager, you will be responsible for inspecting, sorting, tagging, and packing linens with a focus on quality control and operational efficiency (not limiting to stain removal). Your duties include handling specialized equipment, ensuring company standards are met during finishing and dispatch, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and supporting the Operations Manager with additional tasks as required.

Responsibilities:

• Inspection and handling of soiled linens
• Detailed checking & tagging of the linens for defects etc
• Inspection and proper accounting of linens during the packing stage
• Handling of tying machine for packing and sorting of cleaned linens
• Ensure consistent finishing standards in line with company quality expectations
• Quality check before dispatch and delivery
• Manage and ensure the cleanliness of work area
• Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures
• Other responsibilities that may be delegated or stipulated by Operations Manager

Requirements:

• Prior experience (at least 3-5 years) in a commercial laundry or pressing environment preferred
• Ability to handle hot equipment and work in warm conditions
• Good command of English in both verbal and written communication
• Computer Savvy
• Willing to be hands on to learn operation process & able to work independently and as a team
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks
• Able to work on Weekends and Public Holidays

The Laundry Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of laundry services. Their primary responsibility is to oversee daily operations, guaranteeing high-quality results while maintaining efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Staff Management: Supervise and manage laundry staff, including washers, dryers, pressers, and sorters.
• Task Assignment: Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to the team, ensuring optimal productivity.
• Conflict Resolution: Address staff issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure teamwork and cooperation within the department.
• Laundry Processing: Oversee the sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding of laundry items, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Compliance and Quality: Ensure all laundry processes comply with industry standards and company policies.
• Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry area and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
• Scheduling: Manage shift scheduling and ensure sufficient coverage during peak periods.

- Deliver and Collect laundry from Outlet, Agents, Corporate, and HC ( Home Collection)
- To count every item upon receiving and delivering to customers
- To communicate with HQ and respond as and when required.
- Daily Cash Clearance is a MUST
- Removal and Installation of Curtains (R&I)
- Daily loading and unloading of laundry into factory
- To keep and maintain vehicle in a clean and serviceable condition (i.e to send for quarterly servicing, tyre with sufficient pressure, replace tyres whenever necessary)
Job Requirement:
- Class 3 Driving License
- Minimum 2 years Driving experience
- Physically Fit (Able to carry up to 10kg of laundry)
- Proactive and Responsive
- Spoken and written english
- Good knowledge of Singapore Roads
