We are seeking a Junior Site Engineer to fill this position at our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting to the Project Manager / Site Manager and coordinating work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with consultants to submit and approve materials and shop drawings.
- Plan, program, and monitor work progress on site.
- Coordinate inspection work by the Resident Engineer and Clerk of Works.
- Handle technical and engineering problems on site.
- Ensure site safety and proper execution of site work procedures.
- Monitor and coordinate the works of subcontractors, including structural and architectural tasks.
Requirements:
- Civil Engineer preferably registered with the PE Board.
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in site engineering.

- Coordinate with the Costing, M&E, and Business Departments to fulfill all tender requirements efficiently.
- Collaborate with Construction Department staff in planning, particularly in areas related to tender strategy and EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) compliance.

- Support the Project Team in refining and implementing proposed solutions post-tender award.
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify discrepancies, value engineering opportunities, and key areas for attention.
- Participate in on-site safety inspections to assess safety standards and workmanship.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD for planning and documentation purposes.
- Review construction previews submitted by the Project Team and coordinate with them to obtain approval from Japan HQ.
- Assist with enhancing EHS practices across sites by supporting office management initiatives for continual improvement.
