Responsibilities
Provide managerial leadership to the Core Laboratory team and promote a positive environment.
Proficient in technical reviews including Clinical Chemistry and Hematology.
Manages day to day delivery of testing services while implementing operational improvements to increase client satisfaction, quality performance and operational efficiency.
Effectively manage change, facilitate innovation and foster teambuilding to provide the highest quality and most cost effective laboratory product possible.
Resolves client inquiries and operational issues in a timely manner by consulting with the Medical Director, Technical Director, QA, other laboratory managers, laboratory directors or corporate operations.
Conduct departmental meetings and ensures appropriate departmental communication.
Participates in and supports client visits, audits and inquires to ensure complete fulfillment of requests and interests.
Investigate deviations from established procedures to ensure effective corrective action.
Ensure personnel competency and address performance related issues as necessary.
Provides support to the functional directors and assists in the fulfillment of his/her responsibilities.
Ensure an adequate level of trained personnel to meet the testing and administrative requirements of the department.
Requirements
Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Chemistry or other Life Science.
Minimum 6 years of laboratory experience plus 4 years supervisory or management experience in a clinical laboratory environment.
Prior supervisory experience managing several direct reports preferred.
Experience in a high-volume working environment.
Knowledge of quality assurance practices and procedures.
Strong knowledge of CAP, ISO15189 accreditation and MOH HCSA regulations.
Understanding of laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures
Proven ability to problem solving/troubleshooting and provide solutions under minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
High level of attention to detail with strong organization skills.
Comfortable making decisions in a fast changing environment.

Reporting to the QA Manager and working closely with the Mechanical Manager, the QC Supervisor for Mechanical is responsible for overseeing the mechanical execution works performed by the EPC contractors, ensuring strict adherence to contractual quality requirements, engineering specifications, applicable codes, and international best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and tests to verify that mechanical installations and repairs adhere to design technical specifications, codes, and quality standards
- Ensure all mechanical work complies with relevant industry codes, project specifications, company policies, and contractual obligations
- Oversee critical mechanical activities including material inspection, installation, welding, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), pressure testing, and final alignment and pre-commissioning checks
- Maintain detailed, accurate, and auditable records of all inspection activities, equipment history, non-conformance reports, and quality documentation
- Identify, document and track quality documentation

- Ability to plan, schedule and allocate work to ensure efficient operations and minimal downtime
- Effective communication in good coordination with other departments

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead the QC team in performing inspections and analytical testing of raw materials, SFG and FG products.
- Develop and maintain QC protocols, SOPs, and documentation aligned with Pall Filtration standards and applicable regulations. Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, and other relevant quality and regulatory frameworks.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics, including defect rates, test results, and process capability. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.

The essential requirements of the job include
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control or assurance, ideally within filter manufacturing or similar sectors.
- Proven ability to lead QC teams and oversee laboratory operations efficiently.
- Deep understanding of filtration technologies, materials science, and chemical manufacturing processes.
