Job Description:The Lab Pilot Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of pilot trials in a laboratory setting. This involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including maintenance and supplier teams, to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
The coordinator will oversee pest control, calibration, and other quality assurance measures to maintain compliance with HACCP and GMP standards.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to 5S and GMP practices.
- Review and update quality documentation as needed to ensure alignment with current standards and procedures.
- Support and manage sample requests by preparing necessary documentation for customs clearance.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels, coordinating with internal departments such as the warehouse to ensure availability of inventory.
- Assist with recipe formulation, sensory evaluation coordination, change request management, and documentation.
- Coordinate factory team support on commercialization and technical topics linked to their projects.
Scope:
The role encompasses SEA - Chocolate FM, GM, Cocoa, Regional trials, and sample coordination, along with cross-country support for production plants within the SEA region.
Requirements:To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Diploma in Food Science / Food Technology / Chemistry or equivalent.
- Fresh graduate or Diploma holder with 6-8 years of experience in managing pilot plants or similar activities.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and database management.
- Basic English and local language skills.
- Ability to travel up to 10% within South East Asia region.
- Experience in shipping documentation, pilot team coordination is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of compound and chocolate-related applications such as confectionery, ice cream, bakery are an added advantage.
- Experience in Project Management and Stakeholder Management.
- Good working knowledge of tools like MS Office, Salesforce, SAP, etc.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in machine or maintenance or engineering activities will be an added advantage.
- Able to guide and mentor junior technicians.
