Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and oversee the operation of the laboratory in supporting the teaching and research activities.
- Manage laboratory resources to meet operational needs.
- Budgetary planning for the laboratory and ensuring procurement operations comply with the University's financial policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Laboratory asset management and maintaining proper records for inventory auditing.
- Provide teaching support for laboratory experiments and projects.
- Manage and maintain the equipment, robot systems, consumables, tooling and facilities.
- Conduct safety risk assessments for all equipment and processes.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Manufacturing/Computer Engineering.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, with 5 years' experience in a technical support role, ideally in mechatronics and robotics systems.
- Hands-on experience with industrial and mobile robotics systems, hardware, and software, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a university environment.
- Highly motivated and customers oriented.

- Good written and oral communication skills.

· Prepare and submit materials for safety licensing and other permits
· Design, establish and digitise procedures for inventory and safety management, including selection and implementation of Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS) and Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN)
