The main duty of this position is to run routine haematology, coagulation and urine laboratory tests on patient samples in a clinical haematology laboratory. Your duties will include working with routine operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation.You will also be expected to perform morphology analysis for diagnostic purposes.
Other responsibilities may include technical equipment validation, quality assurance and inventory management in compliance with our organization’s technical and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
Degree in Biomedical Science, Biological Science, Medical Technology or its equivalent.
At least 3 years of experience in diagnostic haematology laboratory including assessment of morphology findings in patient samples.

Laboratory Analyst – Environmental Testing & Analytical Excellence

Be part of a purpose-driven team working to ensure environmental safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day laboratory sample intake, including logging samples, verifying chain of custody, validating sample details and required tests, and coordinating with internal teams and clients.
  • Conduct accurate testing of water, wastewater, and soil samples in accordance with established SOPs and international standard methods.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain analytical instruments such as UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, pH meter, Turbidity Meter, Photometer, and distillation units.
  • Prepare lab worksheets, draft test reports, maintain equipment records, and manage chemical inventories, in alignment with ISO 17025 documentation and quality system requirements.

  • Engage with suppliers to coordinate procurement and equipment servicing.
  • Implement and maintain up-to-date QA/QC procedures to ensure the reliability and traceability of results.
  • Uphold safety protocols and ensure strict compliance with laboratory health and safety policies.
  • Participate in on-site sample collection (local or overseas) and perform field testing as required.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of testing and reporting procedures in accordance with SINGLAS (ISO standards.
  • Identify and take corrective actions for any non-compliance in laboratory processes, referencing ISO 17025 guidelines.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
  • 1 year of hands-on experience in environmental testing, with a strong working knowledge of ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry) .
  • Familiarity with ISO 17025 quality systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical competency, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
