The key responsibilities of this role include ensuring the Science Lab's preparation room and equipment are well-maintained during working hours.

• Maintaining apparatus, equipment, and teaching materials for lessons as requested by Science Teachers.
• Collecting and clearing away equipment and other teaching materials after lessons, including safely disposing of waste and washing up apparatus.
• Conducting regular checks on faulty and damaged equipment after each lesson and reporting to the Science Teacher or HOD (as appropriate), and making necessary repairs.
• Collaborating with TA to keep IT equipment in working condition, including desktops, notebooks, visualisers, and projectors.
• Inspecting and replenishing first aid boxes/kits.
• Distributing desk copies and science materials to teachers.

Inventory Management:

• Preparing an inventory of stocks twice a year.
• Liaising with the HOD to replenish consumables.
• Maintaining a stock book and recording breakage and liaising with the HOD to make replacements.
• Keeping a record of apparatus and reference materials loaned to teachers.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Ensuring exhibits (including noticeboards, interactive exhibits, life exhibits) placed inside the lab and various parts of the school are properly maintained.
