Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of new polymeric marking solutions (formulation, application various polymer materials, and integrable to client's process requirement/budget)
- Conduct and oversee R&D experiments and trials, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed technical reports to the Head in Singapore.
- Manage day-to-day lab operations, including equipment maintenance, procurement of materials/chemicals, and inventory management.
- Act as a technical liaison between the company and clients, providing technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) and prototypes that showcase the technology's application.
- Implement and oversee Health, Environmental, and Safety (HES) protocols in the lab to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in the organization and logistical planning of technology demonstrations, client site visits, and technical workshops.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Polymer Science, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in polymeric applications, material science, or a similar technical role.
- Proven experience in laboratory management, testing coordination, EHS regulation knowledge, and technical project implementation.
- Strong understanding of polymer characteristics, plastic industrial processes & methods, and application techniques.
- Hands-on experience in managing R&D experiments and pilot projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on technical detail and innovation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with laboratory management software.
