We are seeking a skilled Food Preparation Specialist to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients according to standard operating procedures and maintaining high standards of food preparation, quality, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in kitchen operations by preparing ingredients according to SOP and standards.
- Ensure high standards of food preparation, quality, and consistency in all dishes.
- Follow proper Kitchen Standard Operating Procedures to maintain efficiency and productivity.
- Minimise wastage and spoilage of ingredients and other food items to reduce costs.
- Manage individual areas of responsibilities, including inventory management and stock control.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards to prevent cross-contamination and accidents.
- Perform any other job tasks assigned by management to support the team's goals and objectives.
- Prior relevant experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Confident, outgoing personality and positive attitude to handle pressure and stress.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
- Able to cope in a fast-paced environment with heavy volume and deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English and Chinese/Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking associates.
