Job Scope For Engine Technician
Engine technician, maintain and repair machinery on vessel. You will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of machines, engines and mechanical systems with the instructions from supervisor. Engine technician must have manual dexterity and great attention to detail. They must be able to work with various machines and tools as well as follow all safety precautions.
The main job scopes were as follow.
- Familiarity with parts and components of engines, gearbox and machinery as well as the tools to fix them.
- (knowledge on 2 stroke and 4 stroke engine)
- Follow repair procedure and instruction from supervisor to carry out overhauling of components and provide great customer service
- Perform routine maintenance and general technical work on engine.
