The Role

The Junior Technician is responsible for fabrication and assembly work in the workshop, and to provide quality conveyor belt replacement service to customer on-site.


Accountabilities

  • Fabricates conveyor belts to required specification and tolerance
  • Operates and maintains machinery and production line equipment
  • Finalizes and packs finished products for shipment
  • Replaces conveyor belts at customer’s site
  • Performs other tasks as assigned


What Are We Looking For

**HVAC Scope**
+ Maintain, service, troubleshooting, repair and clean Carrier owned HVAC and related products in the workshop and various sites when required. Or air-cooled and water-cooled systems from 10 RT to 600 RT; various sizes of air conditioners, pumps, air handlers, spot coolers.
+ Supervision of subcontractors for hose connection and electrical termination works at project sites.

+ Standby for emergency call up or breakdown of equipment
+ Ensure that all equipment are in good and presentable condition.
+ Ensure all PPE is worn appropriately as work is performed in a variety of environmental conditions with exposure to outdoor temperature variations, noise, vibrations, gas or fumes, grease, cleaning solvents, degreasing agents, machinery and its moving parts, odors, and dust particles.

+ Maintain proper inventory counts for all equipment and accessories.
+ Use power tools, hand tools, and other mechanical equipment.
+ Identify the spare parts required, requesting and receiving of spares.

+ In charge of testing and commissioning of either Diesel Pumps for various project sites across Singapore.
+ Able to understand and repair pump end for small and large pumps systems is preferred.
+ Knowledge in both electrical and mechanical components of the engine.
+ Knowledge and skills in full overhauling of engines is preferred.
