The Supply Chain Analyst (Purchasing) is responsible for optimising supply chain operations through data analysis, inventory management, and collaboration with various departments to ensure assurance of supply.
This position reports to the Section Head, Purchasing and is part of the Purchasing Department located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Demand and Supply CoordinationEnsure consistent material supply to meet production build plans by applying lean tools and collaborating with Order Fulfilment, Planning, and Production teams to manage dynamic demand changes.
+ Supplier Relationship and Performance ManagementWork closely with suppliers to maintain safety stock, manage forecasting and obligations, and ensure on-time delivery. Conduct regular performance reviews with Supplier Quality and Sourcing to drive continuous improvement.
+ Inventory Control and Operational ExecutionMonitor and analyse inventory to prevent stockouts and minimise excess. Execute daily purchasing activities, update management boards, conduct kanban audits, and resolve issues such as blocked invoices and stock-out recovery.

The essential requirements of the job include:

To execute the strategy to achieve the Department KPIs in the following areas DM & IDM % cost reduction
Inventory Management
To perform purchasing function to ensure compliance to SOP & Internal Control Compliance (SOX)

Purchasing Assistant
- "O" Level with at least 2 years of working experience
- Competent in Microsoft Excel and Words
- Prefer staff who stay in Ang Mo Kio or East area
- Navision knowledge will be an added advantage
- Any other work assigned by supervisor
