Introduction

This is an opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic individual to gain experience and exposure supporting the regulatory and compliance function of a well-known investment house based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team that is responsible for monitoring of regulatory reporting obligations for the firm across global markets
• Support the BAU running of regulatory reporting activities, including shareholding monitoring through shareholding tracking systems and assisting with the preparation of regulatory filings
• Provide project management support for the implementation of a leading shareholding tracking system, participating in the delivery of project milestones, working with internal stakeholders and including testing and review of business use cases

We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Lawyer with 3-5 years PQE. This role will primarily focus on offshore corporate, investment funds, and finance transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, secured and unsecured financing arrangements, preference share issues, IPOs, and capital markets transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in U.S. capital markets and private M&A, with a solid foundation in corporate law.

• Advise clients on a broad range of corporate transactions, including offshore corporate structuring, investment funds, joint ventures, and corporate finance.
• Lead and support M&A transactions, including due diligence, negotiations, drafting of transaction documents, and structuring of deals.
