About the Role

The successful candidate will report directly to the General Counsel and play a crucial role in supporting business operations through expert legal advice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating project-related agreements such as consultancy and services contracts, NDAs, MOU/term sheets, heads of agreements, collaboration/joint venture agreements, O&M, financing work.
  • Advising on and developing key commercial contracts for various terminal services.
  • Supporting the review, evaluation, and negotiation of procurement contracts including tender documents, purchase orders, and purchase contracts.
  • Reviewing confidentiality agreements/MOUs/JVAs/services and intercompany agreements on collaboration projects.
  • Providing general legal advice and support on a wide range of matters from time to time.
  • Assisting in legal management activities.
Requirements:
  • Post-qualification experience of 8 to 10 years and admission to the Singapore Bar, with at least 3 years of relevant law firm experience/in-house experience in handling project development work.
  • Previous exposure and experience in M&A/financing transactions and familiarity with LNG/Gas/Energy-related industries or experience in a law firm providing legal advice to these industries will be an added advantage.
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships with business colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • A good commercial sense and ability to present sound legal advice in a commercially focused manner.
  • A bias for action with ability to remain effective, focused, and professional under all situations.
