- Develop a deep understanding of manufacturing operations and define how IT can enable efficiency, automation, and innovation.
- Assess current IT infrastructure and processes to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute forward-looking IT strategies and roadmaps, ensuring readiness for future system integrations and emerging technologies.
- Lead cross-functional engagements with operations, production, quality, and supply chain teams to gather IT requirements and align on solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process automation, data intelligence, and operational optimization.
- Oversee the organization’s cybersecurity strategy , ensuring data protection, regulatory compliance, and business continuity.
- Drive Industry 4.0 adoption, leveraging IoT, AI, and smart manufacturing technologies to enhance factory performance.
- Design and implement a centralized data platform to support reporting, analytics, and strategic planning.
- Manage relationships with external technology vendors, from evaluation to contract negotiation to implementation.
- Provide leadership in the management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ERP and other mission-critical systems.
- Actively participate in IT system migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption and full alignment with business processes.
- Review, develop, and enforce IT policies and procedures aligned with best practices and compliance requirements.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and communication campaigns to boost IT literacy and adoption across the business.
- Monitor IT performance metrics and recommend enhancements to improve reliability, scalability, and security.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology , Computer Science , or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive IT experience , with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or strategic role .
- Prior experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in:
IT system migrations and infrastructure modernization
Process redesign and business transformation
Technology solution delivery across complex environments - Strong experience in vendor management , including contract negotiation and performance oversight.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills; capable of translating technical needs into business value.
- Ability to work independently and provide leadership through expertise and influence , even in matrixed environments.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks , ERP systems , data platforms , and smart factory technologies .
