Through our recruitment, career development, and employee-focused programming, we are committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive work environment where high-performance talent of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives can build careers within this exciting and growing industry.As the Manager of the Mumbai IA team consisting of 3 to 4 individuals, your primary functions and essential responsibilities will include but are not limited to:- Motivating and managing the Mumbai IA team.- Reviewing and preparing transaction analysis memos for Private Credit and Private Equity deal flow to ensure proper accounting in accordance with the accounting policy.- Analyzing credit terms, fee structures, reviewing admin bookings, and syndications mechanisms to ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with the accounting policy.- Conducting daily investigations of material profit and loss items.- Assisting with new systems implementation.- Managing relationships and liaising with internal resources, offshoring resources, and external fund administrators to meet all deadlines.- Preparing monthly and quarterly investor deliverables and other ad-hoc reporting for investor relations, analysts, and portfolio managers.- Contributing to the development and implementation of the group's overall goals in a team environment.Qualifications:- Education: CA/CPA preferred.- Experience Required: 11-14 years of relevant work experience in public/fund accounting, loan syndication, or product control preferred.- Strong Microsoft Office skills required (PowerBI/Tableau/Alteryx preferred).- Exposure to alternative assets, preferably credit instruments such as bank debt, bonds, structured products, and other fixed income products.- Knowledge of investment accounting and the investment lifecycle.General Requirements:- Prior experience in team handling.- Dependable, great attitude, highly motivated, and a team player.- A self-directed individual with a can-do attitude, willing to work in an energetic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment, proactive in nature, and a proven ability to learn quickly, display flexibility, and adaptability while resolving issues with minimal supervision.- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- High accuracy and detail orientation; confident decision-making skills.- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.- Outstanding communication (written and verbal), presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills; strong customer focus.- Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and competing demands; strong time management and prioritization skills.- An analytical mind and a passion/interest in bringing new ideas to increase efficiency of existing processes.- Able to pick up and work with new technology solutions (Power BI, multiple Excel add-ins, SharePoint, etc.).- Flexibility regarding role profile and willingness to take on new projects and learn new skills.- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.- Comfort in dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.- Good judgment in terms of escalating issues vs. solving problems independently.- Ability to be flexible in terms of hours to coordinate with team members across various time zones.Reporting Relationships: There is no set deadline to apply for this job opportunity. Portfolio Management Operations
