Role and Responsibilities
Providing mid and back-office support to the business teams, which involves tasks such as preparing account opening documents, conducting client due diligence, monitoring transactions, generating reports for VCCs and PE funds
Managing the day-to-day operations of multiple funds including fund cash flow monitoring and fund expense payments
Maintaining records and databases of client information and ensuring data integrity
Handling correspondences and general file administration, including managing deal execution-related emails and documents

Position Overview
The Transaction Services Team is responsible for oversight, and execution of investment decisions for our EMEA and APAC clients. These clients fall within a spectrum of CA's Advisory and Discretionary service offering. This includes maintaining close communication with the Portfolio Implementation Team, Treasury Operations, Investment Team and other internal teams such as legal and compliance, external investment managers, banks/custodians, attorneys, other relevant parties, as well as clients. This role is based in Singapore and will be responsible for trades in the EMEA and APAC region.
Specific responsibilities of the Associate include, but are not limited to:
- Complete subscription and redemption documentation for funds across different asset classes (Long Only, Hedge Fund, and Private Investments) and track trade workflow
- Facilitate and navigate AML/KYC requirements for subscription and redemption transactions in close collaboration with the Client Information Management Team.
- Monitor client inboxes for actionable correspondence. Coordinate relevant communication (e.g. trade execution, corporate actions, etc.) between internal teams, investment managers and clients.
- Follow through the lifecycle of a trade in accordance with defined workflows in relation to each client's service model
- Collaborate closely with the Portfolio Implementation Management and Treasury Operations teams to monitor client transactions.
- Proactively support client objectives through communication with internal teams and third-party service providers
- Maintain client information and work with the Portfolio Implementation Management team to ensure that it is up to date.
- Coordinate asset transfers between clients, custodians, and investment managers, maintaining account records.
- Utilize internal CA resources to support client activities.
- Maintain awareness of current investment themes and client interests.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of related work experience preferred
- Experience with trade implementation/execution and settlement related processes would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute with precision
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and balance competing priorities
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Experience in a client servicing environment
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Able to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges
- Professional, focused, and disciplined approach to work responsibilities
- Experience in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word

The Investment Services Private Markets Department is responsible for investment services for the private market across the GIC group.
